THE OPENING CEREMONY OF CLASSROOM AFTER RUBEN SAHAKYAN TOOK PLACE

The opening ceremony of the classroom after the honored lawyer, first Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of RA Ruben Sahakyan took place at the School of Advocates of RA.

The ceremony started with the speech of the director of the School of Advocates of RA Ara Zohrabyan, who greeted everyone and emphasized Ruben Sahakyan’s merit.

“… By naming this classroom after Ruben Sahakyan we pay our tribute to Mr. Sahakyan’s memory, as well as introduce to the new generation of lawyers his activities and contribution to the establishment of the institute of advocacy as a solid system” said Ara Zohrabyan.

The Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of RA Simon Babayan emphasized the symbolic tradition established at the School of Advocates, when the classrooms are named in honor of colleagues who have great contribution in the establishment and development of the institute of advocates.

“During the period of Ruben Sahakyan’s management the cornerstones of modern advocacy were introduced and all this should certainly be fixed in our history. I think that one of the best ways of expressing our gratitude is the establishment of the audience named after him so that our future generations and partners will always be informed about the people thanks to whom the institute of Advocates exists today” said Simon Babayan.

Advocate Monica Hakobyan also delivered a speech of gratitude.

There was also a treat at the conclusion of the official part of the meeting and the guests shared their memories about Ruben Sahakyan with each other.
